For over 20 years, Judie Byrd has been teaching people to cook. What began as a series of informal classes in her home kitchen developed into The Culinary School of Fort Worth, which offers an after-work culinary program for people with regular jobs. In 2003, Judie created the Super Suppers franchise to meet the demanding needs of busy parents by shopping and chopping, slicing and dicing delicious meals they can cook at home.
Judie has studied cooking at the CIA in Hyde Park, NY, Le Cordon Bleu School of Cookery in London as well as in the Orient, France, Belgium, and Italy. She studied entertaining and catering at the home and studios of Martha Stewart in Westport, CT. A member of the International Association of Culinary Professionals, Judie has authored several cookbooks; Super Suppers Cookbook, Help! My Family’s Hungry, and Family Meals in Minutes.
Judie lives in Fort Worth, Texas, with her husband Bill. They have three grown children and five grandchildren.
